Removing WordPress Footer Link

Question:

I have installed the default Twenty Ten WordPress blog and was able to alter it a bit but in the footer on the right hand side are links that says -

“Proudly powered by WordPress” “Install WordPress web hosting”. They are links that I don’t want on my blog. How do I change them to links that I actually want to use there, or even delete them altogether? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Answer:

You are given permission to use that template as long as the links and copyright stay in place.

You can make your own WordPress theme just like it using a program called Artisteer.  Download it for free and try it out.
