Is WordPress.org easy to use?
A Reader Would Like To Know:
I’m making a website for singer Candace Charee, and I’ve looking for some site to build the layout on. I would like people who have had experience with this program to answer to let me know how it is. Is it like editing a blog on wordpress.com? Or is it full on coding?
I’m also looking for someone to design the site for me if can’t find a way to do it myself.
Thanks, Lizzy

Hi Lizzy,
I’ve been using WordPress for about 10 years, building websites for other people and many different types of sites too. It’s super easy and no need for any coding. It’s mostly drag and drop and you configure your site options – look and feel from an admin control panel. What did you want your site to look like?
You can check out my blog which is also created from wordpress.
Hope that helps,
Elaine

By WordPress.org, you mean a self-hosted WordPress blog. You’ll need web hosting. I suggest a host with cPanel control panel. WordPress is available for 1-click installation in cPanel > Software > Fantastico. The blog itself is very similar to WordPress.com, but you can upload plugins and themes. That’s not allowed on the free site.
There is no coding involved unless you plan on building your own theme. However, you can do it really easy with a theme builder like Artisteer.
